Create a website

On Sciencesconf.org the creation of a website is in 4 stages :

1. The creation of your conference
2. The validation of your demand
3. The administration of the website
4. The opening of the website

 

1. The creation of your conference

In order to create a new conference, you need to visit the web portal at https://www.sciencesconf.org/ and click on cliquez sur Create a new conference.
Once authenticated, complete the following steps :

 

All information entered in this form are editable afterward except the “Short Name”. This short name will be the beginning of  the URL link like https://shortname.sciencesconf.org

 

2. The validation of your demand

Make sure to fill in all the required fields and indicate a description as  well as the name of the leading organizations properly in order to reduce the time of validation.

After confirmation of the creation, your demand will be validated by our team within 48hours.

 

3. The administration of the website

The conference website has to be configured before opening to the public for registration and submission.

Once connected, and from the menu My space  you will access a dashboard which contains the list of elements to configure depending on the modules activated.

The configuration includes :

  • Definition of the types of deposits accepted for the conference
  • Definition of the sets of topics of the conference
  • Definition of the rules of the submission (period of opening of the deposits, metadata requested,…)
  • Configuration of the registration
  • Configuration of the reviewing (reviewing type, period of reviewing)

 

4. The opening of the website

Once the configuration is complete (<span class=”wdg-select-all-ok”>✓</span>), the button “Opening the website” will be available.

You will be able to close the website once the conference ended by clicking on My space and then on “Close the website”.
